Presenter Guidelines
We thank all our presenters for their contributions. In preparing your presentation, you may find the following information useful:
- Please prepare slides with an aspect ratio of 16:9 (resolution 1920×1080).
- Paper presentations have 25-minute slots: 18 to 20 minutes for the presentation, 5 to 7 minutes for Q&A and the transition to the next presentation. For other presentations, please consult the schedule.
- Please bring your own notebook computer from which to present. We will swap notebooks between presentations. Connection is via HDMI. We will have a few adapters available for emergencies, but please make sure that you can present via HDMI.
- Where possible, please copy your presentation onto a USB stick in case you have a problem with your notebook.
- Please come to the podium 10 minutes before the start of your session to test your presentation setup. The session chair and/or our online chair will be there to help you.
- Although we will have WiFi at the venue, please prepare to present without an internet connection. That eliminates one potential point of failure.
- We have prepared an HPG slide template (.potx, .ppt), but do not mind at all if you choose a different design. However, we recommend that you use our template for the title slide to have a basic level of consistency and recognizability across slide decks. In any case, please include the following information on your title slide: Title of the paper/talk, name and affiliation of each author, name of the conference (High-Performance Graphics 2026) — or at least the logo.
- We do not recommend using laser pointers since there are three synchronized projectors at the venue and the pointer will not appear in recordings.
We also have some more general guidelines that presenters may consider.
We typically take photographs of the presenters for posterity (while avoiding any proprietary content in your slides); if you do not wish to be photographed, please let us know.
